Frogs are especially known for their singing, which they accomplish through use of vocal cords and the ability to distend their throat with air, creating a drum-like effect which greatly magnifies their sound. When there are several species of frogs living in one area, they often take turns croaking so that they may be heard by potential mates.

Beautiful macro! The toads and frogs around your neck of the woods are scary....so many things are poisonous down under! :)
