Thank You to everyone for your comments in the past couple of weeks. My eldest baby came home from hospital yesterday! We're belatedly celebrating his 18th tonight with a largish group of friends! Looking forward to unwinding a little over the coming days. Now onto some 'roo facts.

A Kangaroo is a marsupial mammal.
It is a macropod which means "big foot".
There are around 47 different types (species) of Kangaroo.
The smaller ones are usually called Wallabies.
The largest is the Red Kangaroo.

The eastern grey kangaroo can jump up to nine metres (29 feet) in one bound, and can reach speeds of up to 48 km/h (30 mph).

Oh, and they can sing opera! ;)

Thanks for stopping by my visual journal! Any comments written, are greatly appreciated.

I take photos because I enjoy it, I find it relaxing, it's a creative outlet and because I can't draw! lol I have no style to speak of. If something catches my eye, I'll photograph it, as I perceive it. I'm experimental if I do any PP work to a photo, as this is part of the creative process for me. So as you can see, I have no aspirations to be a Master Photographer. I take photos simply because I enjoy it. If you're interested there are more bits and pieces here.
