Gentle Flame

I'd like to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Looks like he'll be in hospital for another week or more, so it's keeping me busy doing the travelling (3 hour round trip), visiting and then home again to care for our other three sons.

This is an older magnolia blossom from my mum's garden. Slightly windy day gave the loose petals enough motion for the soft look. There'll be a mixture of new and older photos over the coming week. I'll get around to replying to comments in a few days.

I take photos because I enjoy it, I find it relaxing, it's a creative outlet and because I can't draw! lol I have no style to speak of. If something catches my eye, I'll photograph it, as I perceive it. I'm experimental if I do any PP work to a photo, as this is part of the creative process for me. So as you can see, I have no aspirations to be a Master Photographer. I take photos simply because I enjoy it. If you're interested there are more bits and pieces here.
