Thanks for stopping by my visual journal and any comments you've left, are greatly appreciated. I'm always inspired while browsing members photos & digital artwork @ Am3 and learn greatly from others.

[the basics]

I'm a Mum, living in a rural zone of Victoria, Australia with my husband, four sons and many animals and wildlife. I am self taught in photography and on occasion (not often) try to learn the technical side. I'm experimental in my technique and for the most of it, that's OK for me. A few years back, I moved into digital photography and have found I'm progressing a lot quicker than I had done in the past. The ease and freedom digital gives us to explore, is wonderful.

Since our eldest son became ill, I seem to have reverted back into taking snapshot styled photos from around our land. 95% of my photos are taken at home. I took a long break from Am3 because I found I was struggling with everything that had happened and just needed some time out to put it all in perspective. Thank you to everyone who has wished Brent well. While it's still a rollercoaster ride with his health, he is slowly getting there. =)

[now]

I am still taking photos from home and I still don't understand the technical side of photography properly. I don't own a tripod either, so the majority of my photos are hand-held or if needed, rested on an old fence post. I am currently enjoying walking out the door with my camera in hand and capturing the essence of a moment as I perceive it.
