About Organik Mum

Organik Mum

Thank You for stopping by this space and for any comments you've left. I'm always inspired by what others feel when seeing these photos and learn greatly from this. Your time here is greatly appreciated and I value what you have to say.

The Spiral is an ancient symbol of evolution, possibly one of the oldest symbols in existence. It represents the cycle of the seasons and the cycles of Life, growth and change. Although each loop of the spiral brings us back to the same place, it takes us to a higher and more evolved level at each turn.

I'm an organic mum, living in a rural zone of Australia with my husband, four sons and many animals and wildlife. I am self taught and am still learning the technical side of photography and will do so for many years to come. The last couple of years I've moved into digital photography and have found I'm progressing a lot quicker than I had done in the past. The ease and freedom digital gives us to explore is wonderful.

Since our eldest son became ill, I seem to have reverted back into taking snapshot styled photos from around our land. On days when I'm feeling good because he is feeling good, I'll go out with camera in hand and find some interesting subjects I can photograph. When his health has returned, we'll be taking some drives where I can pick up, where I left off. I hope to one day develop a style of 'thinking outside the box' with how I perceive things I enjoy photographing. I hope to explore macro (not just close ups) in the near future. It's an area I'd enjoy moving into.

Blessings & Peace
